The Night Wind is one of the fastest ships in Krew.io. At a price of 500,000 Gold, it is expensive, but worth the purchase.
Design[]
It is a very tall and wide ship with large black sails.
Technical[]
With 4500 HP, the Night Wind can weather major battles. It is often used by the #1 pirate krew on the leaderboard. However, a substitute would be the Black Oyster when your enemy has higher HP or regen.
Strategy[]
With the Night Wind[]
- Use its high speed to chase other, more vulnerable ships.
- Use its high speed to run from more powerful ships like Black Oysters or other ships with large and skilled krews.
- Works well when used with a sniper build, which allows you to leverage the high speed of the Night Wind while avoiding damage in return.
- Also works well with close range builds, but watch the ship's health as it is less than that of the Black Oyster.
Against the Night Wind[]
- Unless you are in a Night Wind or Black Oyster, you should sail to the nearest island and dock when you spot one of these.
- Fleets of smaller ships can sometimes overpower this ship as the Night Wind doesn't have as much health as some other Big Mamas.
- Avoid chasing the Night Wind even if you are in a Night Wind of your own, or even a Black Oyster, as it is unlikely you will catch up to it.
Recommended Builds[]
For the Night Wind use a sniper build such as 0-50-0 with Demolisher, or 27-23-0 with Titanium Barrel. Alternatively, the krew members can use one of the previously mentioned builds, and the captain can use either 20-10-20 or 30-0-20 with Drifter or Nitro Peg for a ship speed boost. If you have three or more krew members, having at least one krew with a high Fire Rate build like 30-0-20 with Sinker's Gloves or Demolisher would be helpful.
